![]() ![]() Wanna spend 100+ hours or cheat it's def. It's very differen't how players sees the game. This gameplay is so long so restarts might be a long road. People seems to forget how it was when they started and only sees what they manage It's easier than you think because many commands you make yourselves. So when new Thereshallbewings commands might be propper if carefully used A new player don't know the smart moves etc. And if new carefull cheat might help you in situations veterans awoyd. Still, I keep the cheat script around because while cheating ruins fun, for me telling a fighter to land on my tm over and over for over 10 minutes while it just sits there and looks at me ruins fun more. The game became boring and I ended up just starting over. I started a few days ago and used Cycrows cheats heavily. Opprinnelig skrevet av titanopteryx:I agree that cheating ruins the gameplay. Use it judiciously to make it less of a time-suck actually makes it a little more fun to me. Use cheats to do everything and yes, the game will be a bore in a hurry. This time, I'll have no compunction about cheating that a bit. Got bored trying to manage that goat-rope of logistics. Last time I tried to get through the hub mission legit. Again though, if the game just flat robs me of an M1, TL, or nice M6, I don't feel bad replacing those credits. ![]() It's fairly easy to keep the money coming in. Once my economy is going I don't mess with cheating credits. That beats spending 10 minutes docking and flying it around to different stations to try and dig up shields that nobody ever has and weapons that are always low in stock. I don't insistently cheat, but I did make a few scripts that outfit a freighter with software / jump / and e-cells and that take the right amount of money out. The latter is just clicking more buttons to get there as fast as possible. I guess I don't see a huge difference in giving myself some credits and gear to get going early in the game and following a max-money step by step guide to building just the right set of stations to do the same. ![]() ![]() I largely use the scripts to fix things where the game gut punches me with something stupid and to stop wasting my nights just trying to wrangle up simple stuff. Station killed rapidly by impossibly small group of tiny fighters but when I attack a station, I need 20 minutes and my trigger finger hurts. Ships flying into asteroids because they wait till the last minute to maneuver. 2M on newly customized fighter which beats itself to death inside a dock. Buying a new freight ship and running to 10 stations trying to outfit the necessary bits and pieces to get it serviceable for CAG and jumping. Saving up 100M to setup a small fleet and turning around and they are gone. Necro thread but I recently started playing again, and remember all the reasons the game actually did a fine job of losing interest to me. If you did everything right you will have a new bind option under Options>Controls>Interface, to bind a key to "Cheat menu". Open the Scrpt Editor and run Reinit Script Cache. If your script editor is active all you need to do is go to it under Personal>Advanced>Global Commands. It may ask to overwrite so be carful to check that you have the right version before you say yes. Important to note you need both scripts holds the commands, t holds the interface text. These need to be coppied into the x3:terran conflict directory. If you get the zip or rar version it should contain two direcories scripts and t. Whatever you use it needs to be installed before you try to activate it obviously. I recomend searching for Cycrows cheat package. As you mention it i will assume you know how to do that.Īt this point you ether need to write your own scripts, or get a script package from someone who knows how, and has already done so. So here is the answer to the actual post: "How to Cheat?"Īs stated before "Thereshallbewings" only enables the script editor. I know this is old, and its necroing, and the OP is not "How do you feel about cheating?". ![]()
